Peab acquires gravel and rock operations in the Gothenburg area

Through its subsidiary Swerock, Peab has signed a Letter of Intent with HeidelbergCement Northern Europe for Peab to acquire the operations run by HeidelbergCement Northern Europe within extraction, production and sales of gravel and rock products in the Western Götaland region.

Operations are concentrated to Kållered, along with a few other facilities.

Collective net sales for the business in the financial year 2015 amounted to around SEK 110 million and there are 27 employees. The partners intend to sign a contract on 1 September regarding take over.
