Peab begins construction of Max IV in Lund
Peab has been contracted to build Phase 1 of the Max IV laboratory in Lund. The project includes a startup building, a tunnel for linear accelerator with klystron gallery, a Short Pulse Facility and ground work. The client is Property ML4 AB and the contract amounts to SEK 360 million.
Ground and excavation work has begun, concrete work starts in August and the project office will be established during September. Installation and other construction work starts at the turn of the year.
