Peab builds a care home and apartments in Uppsala

Peab has been contracted to build a care home with accessory areas in the Gränby district in Uppsala. The client is Svenska Vårdbyggen AB and the contract amounts to SEK 186 million.

The project includes the construction of a care home with 75 rooms and 30 apartments in the same house - a so-called three-dimensional property. It is a turnkey contract with a construction start in May 2016 and occupancy is expected by June 2018.

The project will be reported in the first quarter in 2016.
