Peab has been commissioned to build a new luggage basement, security control and hotel at Landvetter Airport in Gothenburg. The customer is Swedavia AB and the contract is worth SEK 454 million.

The project is a turnkey contract in partnering. Construction of the luggage basement will begin immediately and Peab’s part of the work is expected to be completed in May 2019. The new security control will be finished in October 2020 and the hotel will be ready in December of the same year. The luggage basement and security control will open for use in 2022 and the hotel will receive its first guests in the beginning of 2021.

“It’s very exciting and a pleasure to be involved in building one of Gothenburg’s new landmarks. It feels particularly good to run the project with Swedavia and work together to find the best solutions for it,” says Stellan Haraldsson, Region Manager of Peab.

The project will be order registered in the first quarter of 2018.
