Peab builds a new shopping centre outside Helsingborg

Peab to build a new shopping centre outside Helsingborg Peab have been awarded the contract to build a new shopping centre in Hyllinge, just to the east of Helsingborg. The client is Norwegian-owned Steen & Ström in collaboration with the Bergendahls retail chain. The contract is worth about 250 million Skr. A new Ekohall and a new shopping centre for volume sales and single line retail trade will be built next to the existing City Gross complex in Hyllinge. The total area will be some 35,000 square metres. Groundbreaking will begin today, 24th August and the Ekohall will open during the summer of 2003. The whole shopping centre is estimated to be completed in August 2004.
