Peab builds a new stage of E45 south of Trollhättan

Peab has been contracted to build a new stage of E45 between Torpa and Stenröset south of Trollhättan. The customer is Transport Authority and the contract amounts to SEK 259 million.

The contract includes the construction of 6 km four-lane highway on E45, 5.5 km local roads and private roads and junction Sjuntorp. Work will commence in June 2011 and scheduled for completion in June 2013.

The contract is part of BanaVäg in the West project, which involves the expansion of double track and four-lane road between Gothenburg and Trollhättan. Peab already has several contracts in BanaVäg in the West.
