Peab builds a new stage of E6 in Bohus County

Peab has received the commission to build a new stage of E6 at Strömstad in Bohus County. Peab has received the order from the National Road Administration and the value of the contract is SEK 415 million. The project contains 3.2 kilometres of highway including the Strömstad junction, a 5.5 kilometre road entrance south of Strömstad, 2 kilometres of the Bohus Railway, five bridges, foundation reinforcement and local roads. Construction is to commence in September 2009, open for traffic in 2012and be completed in 2013.
