Peab builds adapted housing and a daytime activity center in Harstad

Peab has been commissioned to build adapted housing and a daytime activity center in Harstad. The customer is Harstad Municipality and the contract is worth NOK 114 million.

Peab is going to build adapted housing for people with disabilities at Gangsås in Harstad for a gross area of 1,450 m2 and a daytime activity center of 1,350 m2 gross area, divided into two buildings on two floors. The housing will be manned day and night and therefore the buildings will have spaces for personnel. The project also includes considerable work on the surrounding outside area.

The project is a turnkey contract. Construction will start immediately and the project is expected to be completed by April 2025.

The project will be order registered in the fourth quarter 2023.
