Peab builds and sells logistics property to Annehem Fastigheter
Peab has today signed a contract for the sales of a logistics facility in Almnäs in Södertälje that Peab intends to build. The purchaser is Annehem Fastigheter and the underlying value of the property is SEK 96.5 million.
The property Almnäs 5:28 has a land area of 19,000 m2, of which 14,000 m2 is reserved for a rental that PostNord has a 10 year lease on and 5,000 m2 is unexploited land with development rights for a little more than 2,000 m2.
Peab is going to build the logistics facility, and divestiture of the completed construction is planned for the second quarter of 2022.
“We see good demand for efficient warehouse and logistics properties in attractive locations and are therefore pleased to be able to develop this logistics project. Almnäs has great potential and can offer a number of good freight solutions, which makes it an important logistics hub for Swedish business,” says Göran Linder, BA Manager Project Development.
The building will be environmentally certified according to Miljöbyggnad, level Silver.
