Peab builds apartment building in Helsinki, Finland

Peab has been commissioned to build a six story apartment building with a total of 82 apartments on Bahamakatu in Helsinki, Finland. The customer is Lumo Kodit Oy and the contract is worth EUR 11 million.

Peab will build an apartment building with three entrances and staircases by the sea in Jätkäsaari district in Helsinki.

“This contract is a continuation of the close collaboration between Peab and Kojamo, which began with the purchase of the building site. We have built several premises in the past few years and look forward to our excellent cooperation continuing in this project. Customer satisfaction is one of our strategic goals, and we will achieve it this time too,” says Marko Rinkinen, Region Manager Peab.

The project is a turnkey contract. Construction will begin February 2019 and occupation is planned for October 2020.

The project will be order registered in the first quarter of 2019.
