Peab builds apartments and commercial space in Norway

Peab has been commissioned to build apartments and commercial space at Aleksander Kielland Place in Oslo. The customer is Fredensborg Bolig AS and the contract is worth NOK 114 million.

Peab will build the project Waldemar Tower with a total of around 4,000 m2 in apartments and 850 m2 in commercial space.

“We are going to tear down the existing buildings in the area. Then we will erect a new building with 35 apartments and commercial space on the ground floor,” says Kjetil Runningen, Region Manager Peab.

The project is a turnkey contract. Construction will begin in the third quarter 2019 and occupation is planned for the spring 2021.

The project will be order registered in the third quarter of 2019.
