Peab builds apartments and terraced houses in Norway

Peab has been commissioned to build 60 apartments and 28 terraced houses in Billingstad in Asker just west of Oslo. The customer is Bergerveien 24 and the contract is worth NOK 235 million.

The project has been designed by Arcasa arkitekter. Peab will build a total of around 5,200 m2 of apartments, 3,500 m2 terraced houses and a 3,600 m2 basement parking garage. The customer is Bergerveien 24, which is owned by AF Eiendom, Eiendomsplan and Klaveness Marine.

“The project is both innovative in the construction process and environmentally. It means a great deal to Peab to be part of this major, exciting investment in Asker,” says Kjetil Runningen, Region Manager Peab.

The project is a turnkey contract. Construction will begin in September 2019 and occupation is planned for January 2021.

The project will be order registered in the second quarter of 2019.
