Peab has been commissioned to build a new elementary school in Höllviken in Vellinge Municipality. The customer is Vellinge Municipality and the contract is worth SEK 281 million.

The new Henriksdal School will be a K-9 school with a GFA of 12,300 m2. The school will include a commercial kitchen, a cafeteria and music, home economics and art classrooms as well as a gym for 550 students.

The school will be built in architecture typical for Skåne with facades of brick, wood and sheet metal. The building will also meet the requirements and be able to be certified for Miljöbyggnad, level Silver.

“We’re pleased and proud to be part of creating a good educational platform for the students in Höllviken through this new, excellent school. As community builders we know the responsibility that comes with this project,” says Olle Olsson, Region Manager Peab.

The project is a traditional contract with turnkey responsibility for some parts. Construction is planned to start in late summer 2023 and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2025.

The project will be order registered in the third quarter 2023.
