Peab builds facilities on Norrköping outskirts
Peab has been commissioned to build new work premises at Skenäs Prison on the outskirts of Norrköping. The customer is Specialfastigheter and the contract is worth SEK 135 million.
The new work facilities will improve the prison's ability to provide meaningful employment and training for inmates.
"We're pleased with Specialfastigheter's continued confidence in us and look forward to contributing to the development of Skenäs Prison," says Anders Bergeling, Region Manager Peab.
The project is a turnkey contract. Work will start in January 2025 and is expected to be completed in June 2026.
The project will be order registered in the first quarter 2025.
