Peab has been commissioned to build a new fire station in Kaarina. The customer is the City of Kaarina and the contract is worth EUR 11 million.

The project comprises new construction of a fire station and a main building totaling almost 3,600 m2. Peab will also build a garage and storage room. The new fire station will replace the existing station in the middle of the city.

“We’re really proud for the opportunity to carry out this project for the City of Kaarina and its residents. We’re very familiar with this kind of project since we’ve built several similar fire and rescue stations all over Finland in recent years,” says Matti Joensuu, Region Manager Peab Finland.

The project will begin in March 2024 and completed in August 2025.

The project will be order registered in the first quarter 2024.
