Peab has been commissioned to build a new flyover on E6 in Moelv, between Hamar and Lillehammer in Norway. The customer is Nye Veier and the contract is worth NOK 264 million.

The project entails building around 1.1 km of new highway including on and off ramps, a 70 meter long highway bridge as well as two roundabouts and commuter parking.

The new interchange is part of the extension of highway E6 between Kolomoen and Moelv.

“We are pleased to be part of the construction of the new highway. Among other things it will increase passability and traffic safety. We look forward to start work on the project this summer,” says Johan Hansson, Region Manager Peab Civil Engineering in Norway.

The project is a turnkey contract. Work will begin in June 2019 and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2021.

The project will be order registered in the second quarter of 2019.
