Peab has been commissioned to build a new assisted living facility. The customer is Orsa Municipality and the contract is worth SEK 337 million.

The assisted living facility will contain 108 apartments, of which 18 will be for shorter stays. Work on the outdoor environment includes redirecting and channeling Skyttola Creek as well as creating a water mirror, walking and driving areas and parking spaces.

“We’re really pleased to have won the contract to build Orsa’s new assisted living facility “Slipstenen”. We look forward to starting up the project with its fine architecture and exciting floor plans,” says Nils Staffansson, Region Manager Peab.

“It feels great to finally begin construction and I really look forward to it. This is a vital investment for senior care in Orsa,” says Mikael Thalin, Chairman of the Orsa Municipal Board.

Construction is planned to start in the autumn of 2023. The project is expected to be ready for occupation in 2027 at the earliest.

The project will be order registered in the third quarter 2023.
