Peab builds new highway in Alingsås

Peab has been commissioned to build a new link of E20 between Alingsås (Bälinge) and Vårgårda. The customer is the Swedish Transport Administration and the contract is worth SEK 539 million.

This is a turnkey contract planned to start in the first quarter 2018.

The contract entails planning and building around 15 km of new highway. Included in the project are 13 new bridges, a new roundabout and noise protection. The existing E20 will be converted to a local road.

The project will be order registered in the fourth quarter of 2017.
