Peab builds office building and test hall in Örnsköldsvik

Peab has been commissioned to build a new office building and test hall in Örnsköldsvik. The customer is BAE Hägglunds AB and the contract is worth SEK 358 million.

BAE Systems is a global actor in the defense industry. The company’s local roots are historical and today it is one of the largest employers in the municipality. Peab will build a new office building and test hall for their operations in Örnsköldsvik.

Now we’re moving into the production phase and I look forward to begin construction together with BAE Hägglunds AB,” says Jörgen Eriksson, Region Manager Peab.

The project is a turnkey contract. Construction will begin in September 2022 respectively December 2022 and both projects are expected to be completed in 2024.

The project was order registered in the second quarter 2022.
