Peab builds rental apartments in Karlskrona
Peab has been commissioned to build rental apartments at Pantarholmen in Karlskrona. The customer is AB Karlskronahem and the contract is worth SEK 115 million.
On behalf of our customer Peab is going to build 75 new apartments, of which 25 will be student housing, in the middle of Pantarholmen on Västra Kvarn Street. There is currently a garage on the site which Peab will tear down and replace with a new two story parking terrace.
“We’re proud to do yet another project for Karlskronahem. This project contributes to new residential options for people living in Karlskrona. Building homes is one of Peab’s areas of expertise,” says Bratislav Marjanovic, Region Manager Peab.
“It’s very positive to take one further step in our mission to build more apartments for rent. By creating modern and sustainable apartments in attractive locations such as Pantarholmen we’re contributing to the development and growth of Karlskrona,” says Börje Dovstad, Chairman of Karlskronahem.
The project is a turnkey contract. Construction starts in September 2021 and the project is expected to be completed in August 2023.
The project will be order registered in the second quarter 2021.
