Peab builds rental apartments in Malmö

Peab has been commissioned to build rental apartments in Malmö. The customer is MKB Fastighets AB and the contract is worth SEK 408 million.

The new apartments will be built in Kirseberg in Malmö. The project consists of three buildings with a varying height of six to eight stories. All in all Peab will build 264 apartments and six other premises.

“We’re proud to be able to contribute together with MKB to more homes for Malmö residents. This is a good example of our locally produced community building,” says Peter Lindstedt, Region Manager Peab.

The project is a turnkey contract in partnership. Construction will begin in the first quarter of 2024 and the project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2027.

The project will be order registered in the fourth quarter 2023.
