Peab has been commissioned to build a school and a daycare center for Kirkkonummi Municipality in Finland. The contract is worth EUR 11 million.

The contract comprises tearing down part of the existing school, building a new wing with new classrooms and renovating parts of the rest of the school. Peab will also build a daycare center on the same spot an old daycare center previously stood. All in all the contract is for 4,061 m2.

“This project means a great deal to us. We are proud to build the new school. It fits in well with Peab being a community builder,” says Region Manager Marko Rinkinen, Peab Finland.

The project is a turnkey contract and construction will begin May 2019. Occupation of the daycare center is planned for September 2020 and April 2021 for the school.

The project will be order registered in the second quarter of 2019.
