Peab builds senior living in Eskilstuna
Peab has been commissioned to build senior living with 88 apartments in city district Skiftinge in Eskilstuna. The customer is Eskilstuna Municipality and the contract is worth SEK 175 million.
Peab will build a senior living center of more than 9,000 m2 in Skiftinge. It will be one building with three wings and a connecting section in the middle. The center will contain 88 apartments, administration and staff space as well as public and communal areas.
Peab is already building a new preschool and renovating and extending Skiftingehus School.
The project is a turnkey contract. Construction will begin in the spring of 2020 and is expected to be entirely completed in 2022.
“We are already building homes, a preschool and nursing home in Eskilstuna so it feels particularly good to continue contributing to community building by increasing the number of homes for seniors,” says Nils Staffansson, Region Manager Peab.
The project will be order registered in the first quarter 2020.
