Peab builds senior living in Stenungsund
Peab has been commissioned to build Hasselhöjden, a senior living facility in Stenungsund. The customer is Stenungsund Municipality and the contract is worth SEK 188 million.
On behalf of Stenungsund Municipality Peab will build a new senior living facility at Hasselhöjden in Stenungsund. The five story building will consist of 104 apartments and personnel rooms.
“We look forward to getting started on the construction at Hasselhöjden. This will be a substantial and much longed for addition to our existing senior living facilities. At Hasselhöjden we will be able to offer seniors a modern residence relatively close to the center of the city and in a good environment,” says Rickard Persson, Head of the Social Service Sector in Stenungsund Municipality.
The building will also contain offices and rooms for daytime activities, and a roof terrace will be built on the fifth floor. The contract also includes extensive landscaping with loading areas, parking spaces, the outdoor environment and a reserve power station.

Building senior living facilities is important to the community and a way to improve the quality of life and security for our older citizens,” says Liselott Bergkvist, Region Manager Peab.
The project is a turnkey contract. Construction starts at once and the project is expected to be completed in the spring of 2026.
The project will be order registered in the fourth quarter 2023.
