Peab builds the highest office building in Gothenburg
Peab has been commissioned to build the office building Gårda Vesta in the city district of Gårda in Gothenburg. The customer is Platzer Fastigheter and the contract is worth SEK 770 million.
The office building complex, which will contain the highest office building in Gothenburg, consists of two edifices, one 25 stories and the other 14, linked together by a third lower building. The entire complex will contain 26,000 m2 office space, a restaurant and a garage. The groundwork has already begun and the first occupancy is planned for December 2020.
The project is a turnkey contract in partnering.
“We look forward to building Gårda Vestra together with Platzer. The building will make an impression on the cityscape and be like a portal into the city,” says Deputy Region Manager Peab, Patrik Svens.
The project will be order registered in the second quarter of 2018.
