Peab changes CEO

Jesper Göransson takes office with immediate effect as acting CEO of Peab. He succeeds Jan Johansson. The search process for a new permanent CEO will now commence by the Board.

- In an increasingly challenging time for the construction industry Jan Johansson feels that he is not the right person to lead the organization into the future, says Peab’s Chairman of the Board Göran Grosskopf.

- We have made this decision in agreement with Jan Johansson, who has made a great contribution in many roles for Peab. Jan will continue to be committed to the Group, including the board of associates, says Göran Grosskopf.

Göran Grosskopf emphasizes that Peab’s vision, strategy and business plan remains unchanged.

The Acting CEO Jesper Göransson has worked in Peab since 1996 and has extensive experience in leading positions in Peab including Executive Vice President and member of the Peab Group Executive since 2006.
