Peab company receives frame contract for housing project in Stockholm

Smidmek AB, a company in the Peab Group, has been commissioned to undertake a frame contract for the construction of rental apartments on Södermalm in Stockholm. The customer is Stockholmshem and the contract is worth SEK 143 million.

The project comprises 151 rental apartments, a preschool, assisted living and shops in the city block Persikan on eastern Södermalm in central Stockholm. In total the residential block comprises 1,240 apartments, most of which are ready to move into now. Smidmek’s part of the contract is clearly delineated and mounting includes filigree plates, columns, stairways and solid inner walls.

The project will be order registered in the third quarter 2023.
