Peab has been commissioned to build a garage for combat vehicles, a multifunctional building as well as a gym and exercise room at Tofta training camp and target range on Gotland. The customer is the Swedish Fortifications Agency and the contract is worth SEK 330 million.

The project is a traditional contract. Construction will begin in November 2018 and continue until the end of 2020.

The project will be order registered in the fourth quarter of 2018.

Gotland’s garrison is the first garrison to be developed like this since the 1980s.

“We are proud to be a part of the development of Gotland’s new garrison. The new garrison will bring new jobs and more people to live on Gotland. This will give schools, shops and other companies the opportunity to expand which strengthens the community,” says Göran Wiking, Region Manager at Peab.
