Peab divests partially owned properties in Helsingborg and Malmö

For quite some time Peab and Catena have been partners in four development properties in Skåne owned by as 50/50 companies. An agreement has now been reached whereby Peab will sell all its shares in these companies.

The properties are Burlöv Sunnanå 12:51 which is a completely developed terminal property, Burlöv Sunnanå 12:52 which contains more than 208,000 m2 land for development, Helsingborg Plantehuset 2 which is a completely developed property and Helsingborg Plantehuset 3 which contains more than 238,000 m2 land for development.

The purchase price for 50 percent of the shares in all the companies amounts to more than SEK 104 million, which means a result of SEK 75 million. The deal will be carried out and recorded in the first quarter. 

“Peab has carried out these development projects as a partial owner. This deal demonstrates that we have been successful and able to generate a profit through development, which will now be realized by divesting our shares,” comments Göran Linder, BA Project Development Manager.
