Peab Receives Four New Road Maintenance Contracts

Peab has been contracted to perform the "base maintenance road" on public roads in Sveg, Svenstavik, Bollnäs and Älvdalen. The customer is Swedish Transport Administration and the total amount for the four contracts is equivalent to about SEK 453 million over four years.

The assignments include winter road maintenance, snow-free maintenance and are valid for a period of four years starting from 1 September 2015. The assignments also include an option of extension for one or two years.

- Winter and summer maintenance of state roads is an interesting and important market for us. It is therefore very pleasing that we can defend our current contracts at Bollnäs and Älvdalen and that we have been assigned two new contracts in Jämtland County; Sveg and Svenstavik, says Jörgen Eriksson, Regional Manager at Peab.

The new contracts:

• Sveg, appr. 126 million

All four new projects will be reported in the first quarter 2015.
