Peab receives new road contract in Kalmar
Peab has been commissioned to take responsibility for operation and maintenance of public roads in the Kalmar area. The customer is the Swedish Transport Administration and the cumulative worth of the contract is SEK 200 million.
The commission comprises winter road and bare ground road maintenance. The contract is spread over four years, starting 1 September 2019, with an option for an extension of one to two years.
“Winter and summer road maintenance is an important job that carries considerable responsibility. We are proud that we have been entrusted with the take of public roads in Kalmar,” says Göran Wiking, Region Manager at Peab.
The project will be order registered in the first quarter of 2019.
