Peab refurbishes the Norrland University Hospital in Umeå

Peab has been commissioned to refurbish and add to the Norrland University Hospital in Umeå. The customer is the Västerbotten Region County Council and the contract is worth SEK 282 million.

The project comprises new facades, windows, roof surfaces and ventilation in several buildings in the area as well as a new helicopter platform.

This is a turnkey contract executed in partnering. Construction began in February 2017.

The project will be order registered in the first quarter of 2017.
