Peab’s interim report for the first quarter of 2005 is now available and a copy is attached with our compliments. • Net sales increased by 9 per cent to SEK 4 728 million (4 336) • Profit after financial items amounted to SEK 48 million (18) • Profit for the period amounted to SEK 246 million (13) • Profit per share amounted to SEK 2.90 (0.20) • Orders received increased to 5 438 million (5 397) • Order backlog amounted to SEK 16 945 (14 936) - The building and construction market continues to make positive progress in the segments within which Peab operates. The demand for homes in Sweden as well as in the neighbour countries Norway and Finland is increasing. In the Swedish civil engineering market there is also a good demand.
