Peab to build a motorway outside Borås

Peab has been contracted to build one part of National Highway 40 between the villages Brämhult and Rångedala east of Borås. The contract amounts SEK 81 million and the client is the Swedish National Road Association. The work includes the construction of five kilometres four-lane motorway, three bridges, soil reinforcements, and rebuilding of smaller roads in connection with National Highway 40. Work will start in the beginning of 2005 and it is estimated to be ready during the autumn 2006.
