Peab to build a new bridge over the river of Ångermanälven

Peab has been contracted to build a new bridge over Klockestrandssundet at the river Ångermanälven, about 40 kilometres north of the city of Härnösand. The client is the Swedish Road Administration and the contract amounts to SEK 87 million. The work will begin during August 2005 and it is estimated to have it’s final inspection in May 2008. There is a bridge over Klockestrandssundet today, but it is worn out and out of date. When the new bridge is ready, Peab will carry out the demolition of the old one.
