Peab to build a new part of E6 next to Uddevalla

Peab has been contracted to build one more part of E6 north of Uddevalla. The contract amounts to SEK 180 million and the client is Vägverket, the national road administration. The work includes to build three kilometres motorway, six bridges, excavating of soil and rock, soil reinforcement and rebuilding local roads. The project is the third part Peab has carried out in the extension of E6 Torp-Gläborg, adjoining to the recently finished contract. Work will begin in April 2006 and it is estimated to be ready during the autumn 2008.
