Peab to build a new part of West Coast Line

Peab has won the contract to build a new part of the West Coast Line south of Falkenberg. The work includes building four kilometres railroad, a tunnel with a length of 550 metres, two bridges and reconstruction of local roads. The Swedish National Railroad Association is the client and the contract amounts to SEK 180 million. The tunnel construction will be carried out by the Norwegian subcontractor Mika AS. Work will start in May 2005 and it is estimated to ready during the summer 2007.
