Peab to build a power plant in Linköping

Peab has been contracted to build a new combined power and heating plant in Linköping. The client is the Technical Office in Linköping and the contract amounts to exceeding SEK 300 million.

The building is to be raised in connection with the existing plant of the Technical Office close to the E4 motorway in Linköping. The power plant will be eight stories high and it will be in the finished state, producing heat and electricity with non-fossil fuel for the immediate area.
Work will begin in August 2013 and the plant will be put into service in March 2016.

The contract is subject to approved planning permission and the resultant environmental judgment.
