Peab to build double track south of Trollhättan

Peab to build double track south of Trollhättan Peab has been contracted to build one part of the railroad Norway- Vänerbanan south of the city of Trollhättan. The client is the Swedish National Railroad Association and the contract amounts SEK 146 million. The work is to build seven kilometres double-tracked railroad metween the villages Prässebo and Torbacken. The contract also contains six bridges, foundation works, and rebuilding local roads. The work will begin in August 2004 and is estimated to be ready during the autumn 2006.
