Peab to build the second phase of the MAX IV Laboratory

Peab has been contracted to build the second phase of MAX IV laboratory in Lund. The client is AB ML4 and the contract amounts to SEK 1.3 billion.
MAX IV Laboratory is a Swedish research in nuclear physics, accelerator physics and research with synchrotron radiation.

Peab has previously performed the initial work on the MAX IV laboratory and prepared for the further construction. The initiator of the project is the University of Lund, the Swedish Research Council, Region Skåne and Vinnova.

Work has begun and is scheduled for completion in the autumn 2015.
The contract will be order reported in the fourth quarter of 2012.
