Peab to carry out the extension of the University Hospital Akershus

Peab has been contracted to carry out a part of the extension of the University Hospital in Akershus outside Oslo in Norway. The client is Nye Ahus/Helse Öst and the total contract amounts to about NOK 270 million. The contract is divided in three different subcontracts. The first was a work with foundations and culverts which were concluded in June 2005. The second is estimated to be ready in December 2005 and it is about building a child reception. The third subcontract is worth NOK 187 million and it will begin during September 2005 and is estimated to be concluded in October 2007.
