Peab to Rebuild the Olympia in Helsingborg

Now, the parties signed an agreement to Peab's mission to rebuild the football stadium Olympia in Helsingborg in accordance with the award decision of June 2013. The client is Kärnfastigheter in Helsingborg and the contract amounts to about SEK 324 million.

The project includes remodelling, additions and new construction of a total of 27,000 sqm including unheated public and spectator spaces.

- We are proud of the trust from Kärnfastigheter providing Helsingborg with a facility that corresponds to the demands for a modern Olympia, says Bratislav Marjanovic, Project manager Peab.

The work involves football stadium Olympia adapted to modern UEFA standard and will after the rebuilding also be used for concerts and other events.

Football matches will be played as usual during the project, the work is focused on a platform at a time.

Construction will commence immediately and the project is scheduled for completion in spring 2017.

The project will be reported in the fourth quarter of 2014.

The agreement between Peab and Kärnfastigheter signed during night of October 28. 2014.
