Peab to rebuild the prison in Sala

Peab has been contracted to carry out the extension and alteration of the plant for correctional treatment of Salberga in the city of Sala. The client is the community of Sala and the contract amounts to SEK 304 million. The contract is divided in two parts, of which one will be ready in November 2006. The second part, including the buildings for correctional treatment and custody will begin now in April and it estimated to be ready in May 2007. The Salberga plant includes buildings for correctional treatment and custody with totally 342 closed places, the largest criminal plant in Sweden. About 230 employees will be working at Salberga.
