    Rottneros has entered into a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) including Guarantees of Origin (GoOs) with the third largest German energy group Energie Baden-Württemberg (EnBW). The utility will supply Rottneros with just over 30 GWh/annum of clean energy delivered from the 116 MW Målarberget wind farm in Sweden over an 8.5-year period starting in 2025.     Rottneros has entered into a new loan agreement with Danske Bank whereby its existing long-term facilities will be refinanced. The new facilities amount to a total of 250 million SEK divided into a term loan facility of 100 million SEK and a revolving loan facility of up to 150 million SEK.As before, the loan agreement includes a sustainability link, which means that the interest rate terms are linked to some of the environmental and work environment criteria in the Group's long-term targets.     Rottneros decides on environmental investments at Vallvik Mill

    Rottneros’ Board has decided on investments to reduce emissions to water at Vallvik Mill. The investments amount to a total of SEK 33 million and are linked to the mill's updated environmental permit, which has now gained legal force, allowing an annual pulp production of 255,000 tons.The decision means that a number of measures will be taken to reduce emissions to water. They will be implemented during the mill's annual maintenance shutdown in 2021.     New production record, significantly increased uncertainty due to corona·THE NBSK PULP MARKET PRICE was 28 % lower in USD and 24 % lower in SEK compared to the first quarter 2019.     Rottneros Mill invests in a fossil-free production process

    Rottneros Mill invests SEK 15 million in a methane gas burner to achieve the goal of a fossil-free production process. This means that the methane gas generated as a by-product in the new bio effluent treatment plant can be used in the mill's drying process.
