Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (publ) (”SBB”) has successfully issued senior unsecured bonds of SEK 500m with a floating interest rate of 3 months Stibor plus 0.66 per cent. The issue was made under SBB’s EMTN Programme and is a tap issue of the outstanding bond (ISIN XS2078371486) due November 2021, with an interest coupon of 3 months Stibor plus 0.70 per cent. The total outstanding bond volume amounts to SEK 1,300m. The proceeds from the issue will be used for general corporate purposes.
Swedbank acted as sole bookrunner in the transaction.
“This issue was transacted at SBBs lowest interest cost so far for maturities of two years. I believe that our strong Q3 2019 report and the fact that the market is beginning to understand that we are moving towards a BBB+ rating means that we can continue to lower our financial costs and at the same time strengthen our financial position,” says Ilija Batljan, CEO and Founder of Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB.
