SBB sells public offices and judicial properties in Norway for approximately NOK 1,200m

In two transactions with different buyers, Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (publ) ("SBB") is selling nine properties (public offices and judical properties) for an agreed property value of approximately NOK 1,200m. Agreed property values ​​are approximately 20 percent above external valuations as of Q4 2020 and approximately 4 percent higher than external valuations as of Q1 2021.

“The transactions once again show the liquidity of our assets and the unique abilty of our Real Estate M&A team to create value. The sales of properties in the public office and judicial segments are completely in line with SBB's focus on properties for care, school and elderly care and to achieve a BBB+ credit rating. We have now sold for a total of approximately NOK 2,200m in Norway in 2021 for agreed property values ​​approximately 20 percent above the turn-of-the-year valuations and 11 percent above the Q1 2021 valuations, which shows the strong Norwegian market and value potential in SBB's portfolio,” says Oscar Lekander, Head of Business Development at Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB.
