Scandi Standard (SCST SS) – Organisational changes
Scandi Standard is pleased to announce the appointment of Julia Lagerqvist as CFO with effect from May 2019. She will replace Anders Hägg, who has chosen to pursue an opportunity outside the group. Furthermore, Samuli Eskola has been appointed member of Group Management and a process has been initiated to identify a new Country Manager in Ireland.
Julia Lagerqvist is currently CFO of Scandi Standard’s operations in Sweden. Prior to joining Scandi Standard in 2018, Lagerqvist worked for P&G, Barilla and SverigesEnergi. She holds a Msc. degree from Stockholm School of Economics.
Samuli Eskola was appointed Country Manager in Finland in 2018 and will become a member of Group Management with immediate effect. Prior to joining Scandi Standard, Eskola came from Polarica Group as CEO. He also has extensive experience from HK Scan and Atria and holds a Msc. (econ) degree from Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration.
In connection with the acquisition of Manor Farm in 2017, Vincent Carton agreed to stay on as Country Manager throughout 2019 in parallel with his role as Non-Executive Director of the Group. In order to secure a coordinated handover process within this time frame, a process to fill this important role has been initiated. The Carton family holds about 9% of the capital in Scandi Standard and Mr. Carton will continue to serve as Non-Executive Director and be available to the Group on special projects following the planned succession in Ireland.
