DIGNITANA LAUNCHES DIGNICAP® MOBILE APP FOR U.S. PATIENTS

Easy-to-Use Personal Communication and Support Hub Puts Scalp Cooling Information, Hair Care Guidelines, and Other Helpful Resources in the Palm of Your Hand

Lund, Sweden – January 18, 2017—Dignitana, manufacturer of the DigniCap® scalp cooling system to reduce chemotherapy related hair loss, announced today that the DigniCap® Mobile App is now available through Google Play (Android) and the Apple App Store (Apple OS).

Through the DigniCap® App, breast cancer patients interested in using the DigniCap® scalp cooling system at medical centers across the U.S. can learn how scalp cooling works, find local resources and engage with social media networks and support communities. The new app provides direct access to: 

  •  myDigniCap – An easy-to-use customer service and payment portal for scheduled treatments
  •  Patient Help Desk – A quick response feature for personal inquiries
  •  Knowledge Base Library – Frequently asked questions, hair care guidelines for scalp cooling users, patient stories, and features on the DigniCap® website
  •  Resource Links –Helpful links to resources offering educational, advocacy and financial information, as well as customer support and engagement

Soon to be available in 53 medical centers across 17 U.S. states, the DigniCap® system is the first and only scalp cooling device to receive FDA clearance after completion of rigorous U.S. FDA clinical trials where seven out of ten patients with early-stage breast cancer kept at least 50% of their hair.

The DigniCap® App is exclusively directed to consumers in the United States using products and services of Dignitana, Inc. It is not directed to individuals outside the U.S.
