Europasuccé – Erik Axl Sund toppar listorna och förnyar den svenska deckaren
För fjärde veckan i rad ligger Erik Axl Sund (pseudonym för Jerker Eriksson och Håkan Axlander Sundquist) på 2:a plats på Der Spiegels topplista med sin första bok Kråkflickan som sedan slutet av juli sålts i över 100 000 ex bara i Tyskland. Flera europeiska tidningar har utsett Erik Axl Sund till den nya Stieg Larsson, och menar att författarna står för den förnyelse som det svenska ”deckarundret” så väl behöver. I Sverige är de aktuella med boken Glaskroppar, första delen i en ny serie.
I maj släpptes Erik Axl Sunds deckare Glaskroppar i Sverige och nu har deras tidigare utgivna deckartrilogi Kråkflickan, Hungerelden och Pythians anvisningar (under namnen Jerker Eriksson och Håkan Axlander Sundquist ) utkommit i flera europeiska länder och mottagandet har varit överväldigande. I bland annat Danmark, Tyskland, Finland, Kroatien, Estland, Slovakien och Tjeckien har böckerna hamnat på topp-10-listor och hyllats av kritikerkåren. I Tyskland där Kråkflickan släpptes så sent som 21 juli i år har boken redan sålt i över 100.000 exemplar och ligger 2:a på Der spiegels topplista för fjärde veckan i rad. I Frankrike har trilogin redan sålts i mer än 100.000 ex sammanlagt. Rättigheterna till Kråkflickan-trilogin har sålts till 37 förlag runtom i världen och nästa år kommer den ut i även USA, Storbritannien, Spanien, Japan, Korea, m.fl.
Erik Axl Sund följer en svensk samhällsengagerad deckartradition men lyckas samtidigt förändra och fördjupa den. Flera europeiska tidningar har utsett Erik Axl Sund till den nya Stieg Larsson, och menar att de står för den förnyelse som det svenska ”deckarundret” så väl behöver.
