Dear Friends, On behalf of the United European Gastroenterology Federation I would like to thank you for coming to UEGW 2010 and contributing to its success. I hope that you had a safe journey back from Barcelona, which for one week undoubtedly was the Capital of European Gastroenterology. The meeting’s success was quintessentially due to its unique organisation and I want to pay tribute to the work of UEGF and especially the Scientific Committee under the leadership of Professor John Atherton. Of course we hope that you will join us again for UEGW 2011, which will be a special UEGW for me, since it will be taking place in my hometown, the beautiful city of Stockholm. I’m very proud to say that the United European Gastroenterology Week has become the premier venue to present most important new research findings. At UEGW 2011 you can again expect to find out about latest advances in clinical management, cutting-edge translational and basic science and many other exciting Scientific Highlights.
